Tanning beds, rollercoasters, piercing studios and now a beachside bar – a new teaser released for Final Destination: Bloodlines today adds another place to avoid if you don’t want to be on Death’s list of targets.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein (Freaks) and written by Lori Evans Taylor (Wicked Wicked Games) and Guy Busick (Scream), the sixth entry into the Final Destination series, and the first in 14 years, hits theaters and IMAX on May 16 via Warner Bros, with a full trailer dropping tomorrow.
Starring Teo Briones (Chucky), Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Richard Harmon (Grave Encounters 2), Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones (The Book Of Boba Fett), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi Wan Kenobi), Tinpo Lee (The Manor), and the late, great Tony Todd in his final big screen appearance, Bloodlines follows:
Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.
Of course, the Final Destination franchise is famous for making the most mundane of everyday situations into terrifying death traps, and today’s teaser footage proves that getting a cool drink in your favorite bar is, sadly, no longer a safe place to chill.
